The annual BOCONEO Golf outing was held on July 30 at Briarwood Golf Club in Broadview Heights where 58 golfers took to the links and enjoyed a day filled with fun, fellowship and good eats. As the players gathered before play began they enjoyed coffee and donuts, each player received a sleeve of balls and a handful of tees. Since this was a scramble event players started on various holes thru the course and as each group passed the club house they were treated to an Italian sausage sandwich lunch followed by more play and at the conclusion of the event were served a 12oz. strip steak dinner with all the trimmings. Many door prizes were given out and winners were awarded prizes as well. Thanks to all who participated, to all our hole sponsors and the committee, Bob Berteau, Dave Kaminski, Tex Combs, Mitch Storozuk who ran the team skin game. Next year's outing will again be held at Briarwood on July 29, please mark your calendar now and invite those who were not there to attend, also more hole sponsors would be a plus. Let’s make next year bigger and better.
